With the formal announcement of the Palestinian declaration of independence next Friday, the Israeli government is absolutely getting desperate to stop it from happening. It may not be enough to have their US puppets try to veto the Palestinian declaration of state, because of the vote within the General Assembly. That means that the next week will be absolutely tumultuous and we may see a new "terrorist" attack by the Israeli Mossad very soon in their vain attempt to stop the state of Palestine from ever happening!
But how did things get to this point, considering all the "peace processes" that have taken place over the last 44 years since the 1967 Middle East war? To help understand the true situation, I want to present an article that comes from Haaretz News service out of Israel itself, at www.haaretz.com, entitled: "Israel Does Not Want A Palestinian State. Period!", right here for my own readers to view. I do have some comments to follow:
Latest update 03:06 15.09.11
Israel does not want a Palestinian state. Period.
On Wednesday, a coalition of Israeli peace organizations published a list of 50 reasons for Israel to support a Palestinian state. Assuming that you only accept five of them, isn't that enough? What exactly is the alternative, now that the heavens are closing in around us?By Gideon Levy
What will we tell the world next week, at the UN? What could we say? Whether in the General Assembly or the Security Council, we will be exposed in all our nakedness: Israel does not want a Palestinian state. Period. And it doesn't have a single persuasive argument against the establishment and the international recognition of such a state.
Next week will be Israel's moment of truth, or more precisely the moment in which its deception will be revealed. Be it the president, the prime minister or the ambassador to the UN, even the greatest of public speakers will be incapable of standing before the representatives of the nations of the world and explaining Israeli logic; none of the three will be able to convince them that there is any merit to Israel's position.
NTS Notes: It is amazing that Haaretz actually comes out sometimes with some truthful articles, considering the obvious Pro-Israel bias that it usually presents.
What is missing out of this article is the fact that Israel absolutely does not want a Palestinian state because they want ALL of Palestine for themselves, Period! There has always been the Zionist agenda that calls for the total control and domination of the area of Palestine by Jews only.... With that type of racist and hateful idealism, there is absolutely no room for a Palestinian independent state as part of a "two state solution" for all of Palestine!
The Israelis have stalled and purposely destroyed the so called Peace Talks for decades while they have gone ahead and accelerated their illegal settlement building in the occupied West Bank. The idea has always been to try to make it nearly impossible for a state for the Palestinians by declaring that where the Jews settle, it is their land!
Now with the declaration of Palestinian independence, all of those illegal Israeli settlements will be illegally in another country, pictured as a fully illegal occupation of another country, and therefore fully illegal even in international courts and a violation of international law. That prospect is something that has Israel in a panic.
The bottom line is that Israel is now at a point of total panic and desperation and may do something totally insane in the next week to stop the independent state of Palestine from coming into being. What they will do is anyone's guess right now, but I can see horrible bloodshed on the horizon....
