The US Is Unprepared For War With Russia: Russian Aircraft Buzzes American Aegis Equipped Destroyer And Turns OFF Ship's Defenses!

I was alerted just the other day from a comment and an email about a very interesting incident that supposedly just happened last week which was not reported by the liars in the mainstream media because it made light of the fact that the US is entirely unprepared for war with Russia (no surprise here).   I want to share some very interesting details about this incident in this article...

According to the following report from the Russian Radio website, at www.indian.ruvr.ru, it appears that an American Aegis guided missile cruiser, the USS Donald Cook, was in the Black Sea last week on April 14th, when a Russian Sukhoi Su-24 fighter flew near by the vessel... This Russian fighter was equipped with the latest in Russian anti radar jamming technology, and when the fighter turned on its radar jamming devices towards the USS Donald Cook, it was able to disable and blinded the ship's Aegis systems!  First I have that report right here for everyone to see for themselves, and I do have my thoughts and comments to follow:

21 April, 09:59

Russian Su -24 scores off against the American "USS Donald Cook"

Russian Su -24 scores off against the American "USS Donald Cook"

Russian Sukhoi Su -24 with the newest jamming complex paralyzed in the Black Sea the most modern American combat management system "Aegis" installed on the destroyer "USS Donald Cook". Pavel Zolotarev, Deputy Director, Institute of USA and Canada, shares details about this version which is being actively discussed in the Russian media and by bloggers.

US destroyer "Donald Cook" with cruise missiles "Tomahawk" entered the neutral waters of the Black Sea on April 10. The purpose was a demonstration of force and intimidation in connection with the position of Russia in Ukraine and Crimea. The appearance of American warships in these waters is in contradiction of the Montreux Convention about the nature and duration of stay in the Black Sea by the military ships of countries not washed by this sea.

In response, Russia sent an unarmed bomber Su- 24 to fly around the U.S. destroyer. However, experts say that this plane was equipped with the latest Russian electronic warfare complex. According to this version, "Aegis" spotted from afar the approaching aircraft, and sounded alarm. Everything went normally, American radars calculated the speed of the approaching target. And suddenly all the screens went blank. "Aegis" was not working any more, and the rockets could not get target information. Meanwhile, Su-24 flew over the deck of the destroyer, did battle turn and simulated missile attack on the target. Then it turned and repeated the maneuver. And did so 12 times.

Apparently, all efforts to revive the "Aegis" and provide target information for the defence failed. Russia's reaction to military pressure from the United States was profoundly calm, feels the Russian political scientist Pavel Zolotarev:

The demonstration was original enough. A bomber without any weapons, but having on-board equipment for jamming enemy radar, worked against a destroyer equipped with "Aegis", the most modern system of air and missile defense. But this system of mobile location, in this case the ship, has a significant drawback. That is, the target tracking capabilities. They work well when there is a number of these ships which can coordinate with each other somehow. In this case there was just one destroyer. And, apparently, the algorithm of the radar in the "Aegis” system on the destroyer did not load under the influence of jamming by the Su-24. It was therefore not only a nervous reaction to the fact of flying around by the Russian bomber which was common practice during the Cold War. The reaction of the Americans was due to the fact that most modern system, especially its informative or radar part, did not work adequately. Therefore, there was such a nervous reaction to the whole episode.

After the incident, the foreign media reported that "Donald Cook" was rushed into a port in Romania. There all the 27 members of the crew filed a letter of resignation. It seems that all 27 people have written that they are not going to risk their lives. This is indirectly confirmed by the Pentagon statement according to which the action demoralized the crew of the American ship.

What are the possible consequences of the incident provoked by the U.S. in the Black Sea? Pavel Zolotarev forecasts:

I think that Americans are somehow going to reflect on improving the system “Aegis". This is a purely military aspect. In political terms, there is hardly any likelihood of demonstrative steps by either side. That is enough. Meanwhile, for Americans it is a very unpleasant moment. In general, the missile defence system which they deploy involves huge expenditures. They have to prove each time that it is necessary to allocate funds from the budget. At the same time, the ground component of the ABM was tested in ideal conditions and showed a low efficiency. This fact is concealed by the Pentagon. The most modern component, the sea-based system "Aegis" also showed its shortcomings in the present case.

The system with which the Russian Su-24 shocked the American destroyer "Donald Cook" has the code name "Khibiny". This is the name of the mountain range on the Kola Peninsula in the Arctic Circle. "Khibiny" is the newest complex for radio electronic jamming of the enemy. They will be installed on all the advanced Russian planes .

Recently the complex has undergone regular testing exercises on the ground in Buryatia. Apparently, the tests which were conducted under conditions as close to real as possible, were successful.

NTS Notes:  From what I have learned about "American Superiority" over the last few decades as being nothing but lies and falsehoods, I do believe that this report is absolutely accurate....

We have been fooled for the longest time into the false belief that America spends all of those billions of dollars on "defense" and what they get in return is somehow the best in technology... The truth is somewhat different when you consider that money is absolutely not spent wisely at all and in fact goes into the deep pockets of companies in the military industrial complex that gives absolute JUNK in return!   If you want further proof, look closely at the sordid history of the "Bradley Fighting Machine" that has been nothing but a waste of taxpayer money that has resulted in a small "tank" wrought with problems that would be blown to smithereens in any major engagement.... And I need not even mention the fiasco of the F35 "Lightning" that is proving to be the worse possible aircraft ever for the US military and would be blown out of the sky in any engagement with Russian or Chinese modern aircraft!

This shows that the Americans are absolutely ill prepared for a war against Russia.... This shows that if a shooting war ever started, every American vessel in the Black Sea and possibly elsewhere would be a sitting duck to the incoming Russian aircraft if they are equipped with similar radar jamming technology...

It is no wonder that the USS Donald Cook quickly withdrew with its "tail between its legs" and that this report has not been seen on any of the US "mainstream media" at all (no surprise here).... The criminals in charge of the propaganda machine cannot let the sheep know that Russia is no slouch and has the technology that definitely matches (and in some instances exceeds) that of the US....

This should be a wake up call for anyone in the US military to the understanding that a war against Russia is absolutely the worse thing that their government could ever consider... Russia has not sat idly by while the US spends hundreds of billions on weapons that may not work... They are no fools and have developed some major systems that are indeed capable of dealing with anything the Americans can throw at them.

A true wake up call for all Americans, and especially their criminal government that is now pushing for war against Russia.

More to come

Wow! As someone who was there when it happened, I can tell you that the Russian story is completly false. If you look at some of the facts, it's incredibly easy to tell that the story is made up. I am really sad that some people believe this obviously false Russian propaganda.

If the article is true, it does go to show how useless these anti-ballistic missile destroyers would be. Russia wouldn't even need to sink them if a single unarmed fighter can simply freeze out it's entire defensive and offensive capability.

The US military always takes pride in it's weapons, but what new weapons does it have realistically?

Stealth fighters and bombers, are still the same models, where as Russian air defence has consistently been improved.

The same model of jet fighters have been used for the last decade and Tomahawks are exactly the same as they were 15 years ago.

Luckily this radar jamming technology could allow a Russian airfleet to fly right into the US in the event of all out war and simply cluster bomb the pentagon, followed with a few bunker busters and end the war right away.

I feel the above is a little optimistic but that would be a rather amusing, quick and less deadly end to the war.

I am not sold on the idea that this story is entirely "false" considering the constant lies coming out of the US Jewish controlled media...

The fact is that the propaganda machine in the US has been going into rapid mode now in the build up for war against Russia... The lies are coming strong as well..

If you were actually there, then how about a bit of detail...DailyKos and other sites seem to validate much of this story already, and I am truly wanting more details..

I am however making a few corrections to the original story...

I did call the ship a "cruiser" when in fact is was an Aegis equipped destroyer...

I am also adding in the date of the incident which was April 14th...

I can't believe that part about those sailors attempting to tender their resignations. They're much too stupid to do that.

Whoever wrote this blog is clearly talking nonsense!! No way the radars have one controller!! who would be dumb enough to build this warships this way. These guys are fucking imagining 1940s warhead techs come one you morons!!!

If those rumors are not true, absolutely, irrefutably - why just not present on TV some of the sailors, which will tell, without pressure from the "system" of their observation, and the Russian propaganda, and show their paycheck, too, with a latest date on it?

I was aboard DDG-75(USS Donald Cook)and here's what happened : On Saturday April 12th 2014, an SU-24 made about a dozen passes around 500 feet of altitude and within 1000 yards of DDG-75, after not responding to several attempts by the ship to contact it via radio. There was a second SU-24 in the area that did not engage DDG-75. Since we're not currently at war with Russia and those aircraft never fired at us(in fact they had no missiles or bombs), all we could do (beside attempting to contact them) was to watch them perform these stupid, provocative and unprofessional maneuvers. It lasted for about 90 minutes and was not much of an airshow.

Beside, it should also be noted that we don't rely solely upon the Aegis and radar for defense, that would be downright stupid... In the military world it's the norm to have several systems for the same purpose, just in case ;)

So this whole article is just misinformation and propaganda. Sadly, for my own good I wont name myself and certainly wont use any concrete evidence, I don't care if people trust me or not, really. Russia's claims are often crude bullshit and the truth always get to be known eventually anyway.

To those who were in the vessel and claim the story is propaganda: What are you doing so far from home? Why don't you stay at home and make love instead of looking for the fith leg of the cat? Somebody could be banging your wife/husband right now.. Don't be stupid. Don't initiate the last war of mankind. Do you really think those paper little boats will make a difference? Do you know there are infernal weapons called ICBM? Do you know that one of them can carry fourteen independant targetable nuclear bombs with 1 megaton of destructive power each? Enough to completely destroy the main cities of a country. Do you know Russia has 14,000 nuclear war heads against 4,000 of the USA? Do you really think USA can win a nuclear war against Russia? But let's suppose USA wins. At what price? Does it worth to lose half of the USA population in a war that will have global consequences? Now tell me if it is not stupid...

THis isn't the only time that Russia proved its superiority over the US. Last September, the US fired two ballistic missiles from Spain towards Damascus but were immediately intercepted by Russian missiles. Then the Russians warned the Americans that an attack against Damascus will be considered an attack against Moscow. That is the real reason why Obama called off the attack after humiliating himself by his blustering "red Lines". That's also the reason why Iran is not attacked anymore because the Russians included it in their missile umbrella subsequently when the point was made that Russia has capabilities the US can't match. That is also the reason why, just to maintain their intimidatory image, Israel is just resorting to attacking the weak Gaza. See, world, you should still be afraid of us so play our Ponzi or you will be attacked. LOL, their game is up. Note, nobody mentions Iran or Syria anymore LOL

The stupidity in the comments is too damn high.
First why would you ever get into a dogfight in a stealth jet???
Second, about nukes, you don't need 4000 nukes-200 is roughly enough to end human civilization with a nuclear winter
Third... Sure, Pentagon is stupid enough to waste money to send a multi million ballistic missile from Spain (lol wut) instead of calling in airstrikes from carrier group that's much cheaper. Common sense is rare these days.

Well, perhaps the story is true or at least arguable. There was one detail, which was broadcast by the same Russian State media differently in English and in Russian. In russian, it was said that 27 US sailors immediately resigned because of the accident. Most Russians bought the point. Are u? Another point is that the plane stated to be unarmed. At least on the pictures for Russian public, there is a weapon under the wing of the aircraft. What is it? What is the name of the game?

This is crap... do you really think that if Russia had that kind of technology that could completely expose the weakness of the U.S. Naval fleet they would reveal it in an incident such as this ? This type of vulnerability is used in well planned "first strike " scenarios to maximize decimation of enemy forces. You don't send some pilot to buzz a destroyer and expose your capabilities to your "enemy" outside of war time so they can fix it.... this is propaganda! PERIOD!!!!

Northerntruthseeker said...

Not crap at all.. Jim Stone just put up another article over at his site pertaining to another article about this incident...

The idea was to scare the Americans into not persisting with their aggression in the Black Sea, and it paid off for the Russians....

If you know about telecommunications and radar technology to the level I do, then you would know that the Russians have long been working on long wavelength technology for decades and the idea of blinding systems using the methods that are stated in this article are very sound.... I would suggest that rather than dismiss this as propaganda, realize that the Russians have not been sitting still with their radar technology advancements considering they have always been ahead of America in terms of radar advancements....

Jim Stone and others have only vindicated what I have stated here and the article stays...

Russia knows theirs just enough simpletons in America who'll pass this B.S along. Isn't just terrific you pass there propaganda for them so other fools will also not do any FACT checking!

I was there. I don't know who the other claimed sailor is who says this is false. I was in just one of the dozens of fire control stations and we attempted to light up the Russian aircraft and that's when something happened.

I have never seen anything like what happened before and have never seen anything like it afterwards. Something happened to the metal around us, the walls ceiling and floor, shimmered. I wont deny I nearly shit myself. I thought it was a nuclear attack and a nuclear fireball was eating through into my cocoon after having already destroyed the ship.

I would not have even believed it possible knowing as I do the extreme levels of EMP shielding we use.

It leads me to think perhaps the Russian aircraft was actually painting us for a directed EMP strike from a nearby ship or land based suite. I believe personally that it was powered by a nuclear furnace to generate the energies required and whatever the beam was it energized the metal in our ship thereby blinding our radars and burning out several electronic components.

We went directly to port after the 'attack'. Non essential crew like myself were locked down for no good reason. I believe they were trying to hide the damage caused to ship components while higher cleared tech guys worked on fixing or covering them up.

NO no one went AWOL though there were around 10-20, not 27, requests for leave immediately filed most based on combat stress and fright outside that normally expected to be experienced in combat.

Lets hope to god the guys higher up have something of similar capability to protect us when the Russians come for us at home, which they will surely do.

"all 27 members of the crew." Donald Cook has much more than 27 members. Furthermore, I don't know how they do things in Russia, but you can't "resign" from the US Navy. What a load of propaganda.

i cant believe how easily people get fooled ; the article contains so many idiocies that its obvious its just silly propaganda ; all 27 member crew resign ,ha ha ,a destroyer has over 300 crew, the americans got so scared that from that moment no ship has come close to the area ; ha ha ,just these days USS cole is around ,and several other ships are here every month ,USS vella gulf was here too ,twice ,i guess they dont give a shit about russian propaganda!

There is one thing to be suspicious here. You all are enthusiastic with these news like a monkeys when they see a fire. The system of USS Donald Cook which operates and runs the ships engines and powerplant,he runs on electricity, right,so,after the electronic attack, everything went black,so the same system should go black and dead, then, how that ship even managed to return to the harbor in Romania. What, the destroyer crew members used the oarage to get the ship to that harbor?C'mon,be serious guys. Then, the Russian attack jet went on bombing run strafe over the ship and did so for 12 times as I remember. The bomb run consists of having a combat aircraft flying from the distance in the straight forward path over the target, flying low with great speed. It can perform the fast destrouction of the target, but,it is also an easy target for the ground anti-aircraft weapons especially the anti-aircraft guns and artillery. You remember how Vietnamese were destroying U.S. fighters F-4 Phantom II and A-7 Corsair, the same way on their low altitude bomb run. So,the destroyer has many anti-aircraft guns onboard,so iff the missiles fails, the guns are in action, and huge caliber, sniper rifles operated by hands, that can easily damage and in more rounds shots destroy an aircraft, especially in bomb run,so that would be the fate of aged Su-24 in today's bomb run.
