This Is Outrageous: Kindergarten Student In USA Labeled As "Terrorist Threat" After Toy Bubble Gun Threat (!)

First, I had already informed my readership that I would be taking more time this last week in taking care of personal and family business.   It has indeed been a hectic week for me, and therefore little time to do much work in this blog.  I want to thank everyone for their continued support and their patience.  Everything should be back to normal hopefully by next week.....

With the continuing clamp down on American rights and freedoms by the criminals in their own government, we have seen some pretty outrageous acts against American citizens for the most trivial and laughable actions.   I want to bring forward here a report that I found especially shocking and disturbing, and which shows how bad things have really become in the once great United States of America....

According to this article, that comes courtesy of my friend, Whitewraithe, who writes the impeccable blog: Pragmatic Witness, at www.pragmaticwitness.com, a very young kindergarten student at an elementary school in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania, was suspended this week for...Get this... "Threatening" her fellow students with her toy "Hello Kitty" bubble making gun!   I honestly could not believe what I was reading, and I want to share that article with everyone right here... I have extra comments and thoughts to follow:

Kindergarten Student Labeled a “Terrorist Threat” after Bubble Gun Threat

In the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, primary schools across the country are cracking down on gun-related threats.

Last week, in Mount Carmel, Penn., a 5-year-old kindergarten student was suspended from school after she allegedly said she would shoot her classmate, and then herself, with her pink “Hello Kitty” bubble gun, according to multiple local reports.

Parents of the kindergartener are seeking to fight the suspension, since their daughter did not have the bubble gun with her at the time the remark was made on Jan. 10. Their attorney, Robin Ficker of Bethesda, Md., said school district officials labeled the girl a “terrorist threat” after the incident, according to the Associated Press.

The kindergartener was waiting in the bus line with two friends when she made the remark about her pink bubble gun. The next day, officials at Mount Carmel Area Elementary School allegedly questioned the student for three hours about the incident without her parents’ knowledge, local news outlet the Daily Item reports.

According to central Pennsylvania’s PennLive.com, the kindergarten student was initially suspended for 10 days, but the suspension was reduced to two, after her mother addressed the issue with the school’s principal, Susan Nestico. Despite the reduction, Ficker and the family are seeking a full expungement of the suspension, along with a public apology.

“This logic, which was not said in malice, came from the mind of this beautiful 5-year-old child who was playing with her friends, whom she hugs every day,” Ficker told the Daily Item. “And this shows how hysterical people who work at schools have become since Sandy Hook.”

Gun control and school safety have become hot-button issues as the debate rages on over whether guards and teachers should be armed in public schools.

Addressing guns in schools, President Barack Obama recommended on Wednesday that school police be funded by the federal government, but he left the decision up to the schools on whether those guards should be armed or not.

WW~Notes:
The absurdity of this article’s content is beyond ridiculous.  It’s wrought with paranoia by school officials that appear to need treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Pray tell: HOW IS A BUBBLE GUN TOY A GUN THREAT?

The horrid and bizarre incident for this little girl and her parents is and overwhelming testament that common sense is now relegated to a previous time in America.

Further the “Hello Kitty” brand will probably suffer consumer wrath for inventing the little pink toy, even though it only produces bubbles not bullets.

NTS Notes:  Nothing about America surprises me any more now..... I used to list ridiculous things happening around the world as "From the Files Of Absurdity" and closed those files over a year ago. It seems that I may have been premature, because the most ridiculous and absurd things are continuing to happen, especially in the United States, and in fact seem to be accelerating these days!

Is this what America has become?  So paranoid that they would actually consider a 5 year old as a "terrorist" for having a toy bubble making "gun"???   It definitely does appear so, and does not bode well for the future of that once great nation indeed!

With the fraud of Sandy Hook still fresh in everyone's minds, and the insane push for gun control by the criminals in the US Government and media, this laughably outrageous incident in Pennsylvania may only be the beginning of more insanity to come.   As I stated before, this is indeed sad for that once great nation!

More to come
