The Fukushima Nuclear Disaster: Deadly Radionuclides From Fukushima Accident In The Air Over Lithuania (!) Measurement And Modelling Approaches

The disaster at the TEPCO Fukushima nuclear power facility in Japan is STILL ongoing, with no solutions still in site... What has happened now is that three reactor cores have definitely broken containment and at least one fully melted core is burrowing into the ground as we speak.   There is a risk that sometime in the upcoming months we will see this melted blob hit ground water, and then the worst case scenario of a full China syndrome will occur.

What is also scary is the total lack of media reporting on the truth about the situation.  Instead of getting real factual information from the so called mainstream media, we are now dependent on information coming forward via the internet.

For this article, I want to present an interesting article that comes from the NCBI US National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health website, at www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov, dated from December 27th, 2011, entitled: "Radionuclides From The Fukushima Accident In The Air Over Lithuania: Measurement And Modelling Approaches" which gives some startling information that PLUTONIUM radionuclides were measured as airborne aerosols over Vilnius, Lithuania, back in March/April, 2011, shortly after the reactors at Fukushima blew up.   I want to present that report right  here for my own readers to view, and I do have some more comments to follow:

Abstract

Analyses of (131)I, (137)Cs and (134)Cs in airborne aerosols were carried out in daily samples in Vilnius, Lithuania after the Fukushima accident during the period of March-April, 2011. The activity concentrations of (131)I and (137)Cs ranged from 12 μBq/m(3) and 1.4 μBq/m(3) to 3700 μBq/m(3) and 1040 μBq/m(3), respectively. The activity concentration of (239,240)Pu in one aerosol sample collected from 23 March to 15 April, 2011 was found to be 44.5 nBq/m(3). The two maxima found in radionuclide concentrations were related to complicated long-range air mass transport from Japan across the Pacific, the North America and the Atlantic Ocean to Central Europe as indicated by modelling. HYSPLIT backward trajectories and meteorological data were applied for interpretation of activity variations of measured radionuclides observed at the site of investigation. (7)Be and (212)Pb activity concentrations and their ratios were used as tracers of vertical transport of air masses. Fukushima data were compared with the data obtained during the Chernobyl accident and in the post Chernobyl period. The activity concentrations of (131)I and (137)Cs were found to be by 4 orders of magnitude lower as compared to the Chernobyl accident. The activity ratio of (134)Cs/(137)Cs was around 1 with small variations only. The activity ratio of (238)Pu/(239,240)Pu in the aerosol sample was 1.2, indicating a presence of the spent fuel of different origin than that of the Chernobyl accident.

NTS Notes: Readers, what we have here is scientific proof of the explosion and destruction of the MOX fuel storage facility at reactor#3 at Fukushima, and the worst case scenario that the explosion at reactor#3 hurled a massive amount of PLUTONIUM residue into the jet stream.

What this report confirms is that Plutonium residue circled over half the globe and was detected in aerosol sampling in Lithuania.  What this also means is that North America was also subjected to exposure to Plutonium radionuclides back in March/April 2011, due to radioactive fallout carried by the jet stream from Japan as well.

One major fact that has not been reported in any of the media outlets is that exposure to extremely small amounts of Plutonium, even in aerosol form, can cause Cancer.  What we will be seeing in the next few years is a massive upswing in the amount of people living in North America "mysteriously" coming down with Cancer, thanks to breathing in radioactive Plutonium in fallout from Fukushima.

And again where is the media in all this?   The more I study and see reports of the deadly consequences from the Fukushima disaster, the more I realize that the media and the government are purposely keeping the public in the dark so as to not alarm them of the true situation and dangers to their health.   BUT people do deserve the absolute truth to be prepared for the worst case scenario.

What we have here is our governments now willing to quietly accept the deaths of tens of thousands of people rather than tell the truth and alert the public!  To me, that is morbid!

More to come
