From The Files Of Absurdity, Volume LXVII: More Than One Half Of All Canadians STILL Believe That Planet Is In Peril From "Global Warming"

Another new year... More articles that belong in my Files Of Absurdity!

We have seen the truth about the Global Warming scam revealed thanks to exposure from the Hadley CRU emails two months ago. The people behind the Global Warming hoax met in Copenhagen Denmark last month to try to bring in their One World Government based on new "Green Taxes" imposed on their citizens. That measure thankfully failed.

Even as we speak, the planet is cooling, NOT from the BS of Global Warming, but because of a natural cycle of Solar activity. Most people are unaware that Solar radiation output is down considerably from ten years ago, and as a result the trend is towards cooling, NOT warming! That fact alone shows clearly that Global climate change is totally dependent on that big yellow/orange star at the center of our solar system, and NOT from man made influences.

No matter what we do to inform the public about the truth behind the Global Warming scam, few are listening, and in fact according to this poll from www.canoe.ca, the majority of Canadians still believe strongly in the charade of Global Warming! Here is the article:

Canadians believe planet in peril: Poll
By CHRISTINA SPENCER, Parliamentary Bureau

TORONTO -- More than half of Canadians believe greenhouse gases produced by human activity are a key factor spurring climate change, and they say the planet is in peril if significant action isn't taken soon.

The findings of the Leger Marketing poll conducted less than a week after the end of climate talks in Copenhagen suggest that Canada's political leaders must more clearly explain their plans for the environment.

But the survey's regional results highlight the dilemma climate change presents for policymakers.

The highest support for immediate action on greenhouse gases came in Quebec, where almost 70% of those asked said human activity is a key driver of climate change. They want something done now.

In Ontario and British Columbia, 51% felt this way. But in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, 40% or less of those surveyed shared that sense of urgency. Prairie poll participants were also most likely to say human activity had no impact on global climate change, and most likely to say they were confused about the issue.

In fact, about one-quarter of Canadians overall were confused by the debate, believing humans have an impact on the climate but unsure how serious the problem is. A further 16% said human activity doesn't affect climate, so spending resources on it is a waste.

For Prime Minister Stephen Harper, whose political base is Alberta but who thirsts for votes in Quebec, global warming is a policy tightrope. At the end of the climate change talks in Copenhagen, he acknowledged Alberta's oil sands as a contributor to greenhouse gases, but stressed Canada can't reach its goals simply by targeting the oil sands.

At the same time, Quebec Premier Jean Charest chastised the prime minister for simply toeing the American line and said Quebec wants tougher rules.

Political dilemmas aside, however, the poll is "good news," said Dave Scholz, vice-president of Leger Marketing. "Most Canadians are recognizing that we have to do something, that we need to take action."

Still, he said the poll also reflects the conflicting climate information people have received and warned both politicians and scientists to do a better job communicating.

In the last several weeks, "We've heard about (scientific) statistics that have been changed. The anti-global warming lobby has certainly been strong this past year ... I think there are a lot of mixed messages out there," Scholz said.

Younger Canadians and those with a university education felt immediate action must be taken against climate change, with those under 24 particularly concerned.

As well, women were more worried than men -- 56% vs. 51% nationwide.

The online survey was conducted Dec. 21-23 among 1,506 adult Canadians. It is considered accurate to within 2.5 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.

NTS Notes: These findings are very disturbing. Even after ClimateGate has blown the lid off of the entire Global Warming scam, more than half of all Canadians are foolishly believing it to be real!

The MSM is criminally behind the Global Warming hoax. I am shocked that Canadians themselves still believe in this hoax even when they open their doors, step outside, and wonder why its so damn cold these days! It really goes to show that the famous Circus owner, PT Barnum was right in his quote: There is a sucker born every minute!

More to come
