The War In Afghanistan: Taliban Controls 80% Of The Country!

The war in Afghanistan is lost, and still we find the US President, Soetoro (Obama) pumping in more troops for this newest American Vietnam. The eventual results will be exactly the same as what happened in Vietnam: (1)The USA losing the war. (2) Soldiers coming home in body bags, or crippled physically and mentally. (3)BILLIONS of dollars wasted.

The recent surge of US combat and civilian forces into that melee has not changed the overall picture of the actual war in Afghanistan. In fact, according to this latest article from www.uruknet.info, it seems that the Taliban are taking back their country, and are scrambling now to set up a credible alternative government to the corrupt one that presides in Kabul under the US puppet, Karzai. Here is the article:

Taliban Claims Control Over 80 Percent of Afghanistan

As the US attempts to strengthen its own government of choice in Afghanistan, they are in a race not just against time, but against Taliban forces which are
increasingly setting up credible alternative governments.

>Once seen as something relegated to the more remote border provinces, this seems to be a nationwide phenomenon now, and the Taliban insists that it actually has a controlling presence in around 80 percent of the country.

In fact Taliban officials insist they are doing so well in reclaimed the country that they have abandoned Pakistan entirely, saying they don’t need to flee into the neighboring country.

Though the Taliban’s claims appear incredible on the surface, it must be remembersed that the ICOS think-tank had determined the Taliban had a "permanent presence" in 72% of the nation a year ago, and the resurgent Taliban has surely increased its holdings over the past year.

NTS Notes: Increasingly, US and NATO forces are coming under constant attacks by the Taliban, and have been restricted to around Kabul and the major cities in the southern part of the country. US and NATO troops have been forced to concentrate their forces around the Poppy Fields that they were sent in to protect and keep in production in the first place!

This war was started on lies, and is a fight for the criminals behind the Opium drug market. So where is the public outrage and demands that the forces be withdrawn immediately? That is the real question....

More to come
